Official Work Summary
Saturday, May 7th, 2016

Crew on board: Chief Mike, Jaime, Chuck, Dave, Bruce and special guest volunteer, Larry “Ski” Sibiski.


• Chief Mike and Chuck worked on the Radio Room door.
• The Volunteers prepped and inspected the boat in preparation for the following Saturday’s inspection by NAVSEA.
• Chuck helped Rob remove bilge debris from the Motor Room.
• Chuck conducted house-keeping in the Galley.
• Dave removed the last 4 of the old, non-functioning emergency lights that were hard-wired.
• Dave tested all of the emergency battle lanterns and repaired the one in the Forward Torpedo Room.


• Chief Mike worked with Bruce on the archival inventory of technical manuals.
• Chief Mike worked on the power supply for the RBS HF receiver. The 215 VDC out was very low. A bad resistor seems to be the culprit. Mike is buying a new resistor.

Facts of Note:

• This weekend, Chuck Weaver will be hosting the CUTLASS reunion. They and their guests have Saturday scheduled to visit Baltimore’s Inner Harbor – and TORSK.
