Summary of shipboard & offsite work for the week ending June 5, 2011

Saturday, June 4

Torsk Crew on board: Chief Bill, Nat, Amanda, John, Cathy, Chuck, Tim, Charlie B, Tristan and 14 JNROTC cadets.

Chief Bill completed the parts replacement in the 1MC amplifier, and compiled most of the parts needed for the amplifier test fixture.

Nat, John, Chuck, Tim, Charlie and Tristan supervised the 14 cadets from the Harrisburg, PA JNROTC as they did housekeeping and various other small jobs around the boat.

Cathy and Amanda manned the galley and also did housekeeping.

The crew also assisted the NAVSEA inspectors with our annual inspection, which we passed!

Offsite during the Week:

Cathy worked on painting the cover plates out of the Engine Room

Gil worked on TVA admin duties

Onsite Volunteer Hours – 166
Offsite Volunteer Hours - 11
Total Week Hours – 177

2011 Year to Date Volunteer Hours – 2550
